Asia Franchise Exhibition

The annual Franchising & Licensing Asia 2008 exhibition opens tomorrow at Suntec City in Singapore. There are expected to be over 10,000 visitors to the exhibition that are there to see first hand more than 200 exhibitors of franchise systems.
According to a report by Ecademy Asia Pacific, the annual revenue from Asia’s franchise markets are growing at over US$50 billion annually, and annual revenue will grow at over US$100 billion annually within five years. It is a major event and major franchise chains attending.
These statistics demonstrate that there is surging demand for franchises in Asia.
The improvements in per capita income in Asia are the key drivers. Franchisers do have a unique opportunity to develop business well beyond their own markets and those looking at franchising can buy into a proven system.
