QUITALES PROPERTIES LTD HONIARA HOTEL - CASINO
Quitales Properties Limited, a Solomon Islands corporation, is in the process of establishing a 4-star casino-resort-hotel some 3km from Henderson International Airport with a white beach frontage, 4-hectares in land area, fixed-term estate title leased for 50 years. The original registered landowners are also joint-venture partners holding 10% in the Project.
The proposed casino-hotel will have a minimum of 100-rooms, with an expansion potential for another 100-rooms. Quitales Properties is seeking equity partners for up to 80% shareholdings in the company which has an authorized capitalization of SBD $4 Million, or €500,000.
There is an acute shortage of hotel rooms in Honiara and the Project with an estimated 18-month construction period will be able to service this needs for additional rooms. The Solomon Islands are an emerging destination, with existing casinos serving a local and visitor market.
Currently, Solomon Airlines is planning to increase the number of their weekly flights and we are looking for more inbound tourists visiting the Solomon Islands.
Scale of investment : SID 38,000,000 or €5,000,000
Technical assistance requirements : Architectural and engineering services are required
Development Potential: Participation in a major new development accessible from Henderson International Airport, with cash flow from a casino and the potential for a second stage expansion. The project can start immediately funds are invested.
